Since buying a cone of beautiful wool from Marina, I was in the need of a scale to measure out some skeins, to dye up. Well Marina hooked me up with a link on Ebay and I scored a scale for 98 cents!! Plus shipping but still! Isn’t it pretty? (that so counts the gorgeous factor!) And it weighs up to 50 lbs.
I finally finished Becca’s tank top! I bought extra cotton for another project, so I wanted to use it up and found a cute free pattern online. It is called the Kidlet Tank. It turned out awesome, the second time I knitted it!

Knitting Lesson #28
Always … ALWAYS measure your always growing toddler almost preschooler BEFORE knitting her a top.
I almost completed this top for Becca when I had her try it on … Unless I was going for a wet suit, it did not fit! EGADS! Frogged and reknit to the larger size! I have to get a picture of her modeling it soon
I started my first sock and a baby wearing poncho … pictures to come soon … I hope … See Crazy Thoughts for more details … knitting may be interrupted by moving … ugh

Oh my gosh, 98 cents! That is so awesome, when I bought mine a few years ago I paid a lot more, darn it. LOL I haven’t crocheted in forever! But I have a few things I need to make, I better get on it! Great tank top too.
Love the tank, I’ve got a free kids halter top pattern on the website if you have leftovers of the cotton. Love the orangey yarn.
congrats on the scale…that’s a bargain! And that tank top is so cute!!
